Kaizer Chiefs have released a total of three players in the month of June ahead of their pre-season training.
In May, the Soweto giants announced the departures Sabelo Radebe and Njabulo Blom. Earlier in June, Ranga Chivaviro became the third player to leave Naturena after his contract came to an end. Last week, the club parted ways with Mozambican international Edmilson Dove after two years at the club.
On Monday, Kaizer Chiefs released their fifth player. Former Cape Town City midfielder Mduduzi Mdantsane is now without a club after the player and Amakhosi mutually agreed to part ways
“The 30-year-old player joined Amakhosi from Cape Town City at the beginning of the 2023/24 season. Last season, in order to accumulate some game-time after recovering from injury, he spent the latter part of the campaign on loan at Richards Bay FC,” Chiefs said in a statement.

During his time with Chiefs, Mdantsane made 16 appearances across all competitions. His loan spell at Richards Bay was unsuccessful, only playing a handful of matches.
Amakhosi pre-season tour of the Netherlands will take place from July 3 to July 19. New players are expected to join Chiefs during the tour according to reports.
