Orlando Pirates are not slowing down with regards to new signings, with close to 10 deals reportedly agreed.
Pirates are preparing for the next season in the hope of challenging Mamelodi Sundowns for top spot again.
Pirates looking to challenge Sundowns
In the past three seasons, Pirates have finished runners up to Sundowns but with a huge gap between them. Now under new coach Abdeslam Ouaddou, they will be hoping to go toe-to-toe with the dominant Brazilians. If not, they will at least be looking to narrow that points gap and show progression from one season to the next.
In order to help Ouaddou to do exactly that, they have worked tirelessly to give him the necessary tools. This includes the signing of eight new players so far this transfer window. Kabelo Kgositsile, Masindi Nemtajela, Nkosikhona Ndaba, Tshepo Mashiloane, Sihle Nduli, Tsepang Moremi, Sinoxolo Kwayiba and Yanela Mbuthuma. Pirates haven’t to make an official announcement on any of those players, one of them has seemingly done that himself.
New signing Moremi announces himself
Bafana Bafana winger Moremi recently took to his Instagram story and posted a throwback picture. This picture featured a younger version of himself, wearing a red Pirates jersey from the yesteryear, surrounded by other Buccaneers. What made this picture even more interesting was the fact that it was posted on the day the deal was rumoured to be completed. Take a look below!
That picture proves that this is more than just a transfer for Moremi, but a dream move to his boyhood club. Such images will also help to endear himself quicker to the Pirates faithful. He is expected to be announced by the club before their pre-season return date of July 7.
