Kaizer Chiefs are set for a high-intensity pre-season Camp in the Netherlands next month.
The team is set to arrive on 4 July and depart on 19 July, and will be based in the town of Apeldoorn, approximately 80 kilometres from Amsterdam.
Having finished ninth in the Betway Premiership, the Soweto giants are desperate to improve. Although they had one of their worst season in the league, Chiefs managed to end their 10-year trophy drought by winning the Nedbank Cup.
Nasreddine Nabi will have his second pre-season with Kaizer Chiefs, which will give him a clear indication of what the team needs. So far, the club have not announced any new signings but has been linked to several top players.
In terms of departures, Amakhosi have parted ways with five players in the past weeks. The five are Sabelo Radebe, Edmilson Dove, Ranga Chivaviro, Njabulo Blom and Mduduzi Mdantsane.
Who will Kaizer Chiefs play in their pre-season tour?
As part of the tour, Amakhosi will play five friendly matches against Dutch top-tier sides from both the Eredivisie and Eerste Divisie. Four of the matches will be open to the public, with one being held behind closed doors.
Match schedule for Kaizer Chiefs this pre-season:
08 July, 19:00 vs. SBV Vitesse Arnhem
11 July, 16:00 vs. FC Utrecht
12 July, 14:00 vs. NEC Nijmegen
15 July, 19:00 vs. PEC Zwolle
16 July, 19:00 vs. FC Twente
