Orlando Pirates – CONFIRMED: All signings and departures – UPDATED

Orlando Pirates have signed a total of eight players. Whilst, they have released four.

Orlando Pirates squad revamp continues to result in major changes to playing personnel.

To date, they have unveiled NINE new player signings. Meanwhile, more Bucs signings are still on the cards. Also, as mentioned, FOUR Pirates players have been released with more heading out of Mayfair.

ALL PIRATES SIGNINGS SO FAR

  • Yanela Mbuthuma (Richards Bay)
  • Masindi Nemtajela (Marumo Gallants)
  • Tshepang Moremi (Amazulu)
  • Nkosikhona Ndaba (Richards Bay)
  • Sinoxolo Kwayiba (Chippa United)
  • Tshepo Mashiloane (Baroka)
  • Sihle Nduli (Stellenbosch)
  • Sipho Mbule (Mamelodi Sundowns)
  • Oswin Appollis (Polokwane City)

So, Oswin Appollis is the newest Pirates player.

“Orlando Pirates is pleased to welcome 𝐎𝐬𝐰𝐢𝐧 𝐀𝐩𝐩𝐨𝐥𝐥𝐢𝐬  #OrlandoPirates #OnceAlways” Pirates confirmed in an official statement across their social media accounts.

Meanwhile, Pirates revealed all seven signings above before revealing ex-Sundowns star Sipho Mbule last week. Therefore, Appollis becomes the NINTH new Pirates player.

BUCS RELEASE QUARTET

  • Innocent Maela
  • Miguel Timm
  • Paseka Mako
  • Thabiso Monyane

Former Pirates captain, Maela playing contract is over and so are his playing days with the Bucs.

Therefore, Abdeslam Ouaddou must appoint a new captain. Tapelo Xoki and Nkosinathi Sibisi are the front-runners.

Meanwhile, midfielder Timm was released alongside Mako and Monyane. Timm departed the club amicably. However, the same can’t be said for Mako and Monyane. Both outgoing Pirates stars are linked with moves to Soweto rivals, Kaizer Chiefs. In fact, they are both training with Amakhosi as we speak.

So, they are expected to be unveiled by Chiefs alongside these Bafana Bafana and Sundowns stars.
