Orlando Pirates news: Saleng, Appollis, Moremi, Moloisane

Orlando Pirates have wasted no time in the offseason window, signing ten established stars, including Tshepang Moremi, Sihle Nduli, Sinoxolo Kwayiba, and most recently, Oswin Appollis.

The latter is a huge coup for the Buccaneers, who have tried to sign the 23-year-old winger in the previous two transfer markets amid Kaizer Chiefs’ interest.

Moremi is another sought-after player Orlando Pirates managed to lure. The former AmaZulu attacker turned down offers from AmaKhosi and reigning PSL champions Mamelodi Sundowns.

Meanwhile, long-term target Thabo Moloisane continues to weigh up his options.

“I think when you have interest in your name, it shows you’re doing well and you’re playing well, and I’m just happy that my work is finally showing,” he told SABC Sport.

“I’ve prayed for days when I’m a Bafana Bafana player, and I try by all means to remain as consistent as I can, and at the moment it’s just to continue doing what I can, and God is in control, so we’ll see.”

“For me, I know the right time, everything that has happened in my career has always come at the right time,” the Orlando Pirates target said.

Who’s out?

Question marks surround the futures of Monnapule Saleng and Relebohile Mofokeng – but for different reasons.

The former hasn’t featured since December 7 amid salary demands the club failed to agree on, while the latter is garnering interest from several clubs, including Ah Ahly, Zamalek FC, and FC Cincinnati.

Who of the two should Orlando Pirates sign?
