Three BOMBSHELLS from ‘Real Housewives of Durban’ star’s TELL-ALL

Former Real Housewives of Durban star Annie Mthembu sat down with podcaster Lungelo KM to speak about the emotional toll that her split from Durban businessman Kgolo Mthembu took on her on an episode of Engineer Your Life, which released this week.

ANNIE SAYS MARRIAGE ENDED DUE TO INFIDELITY

Reality star and businesswoman Annie Mthembu married Durban businessman Kgolo “Daguru” Mthembu in a lavish wedding at La Paris Estate in Franschhoek in the Western Cape in 2021.

The pair met in 2016 and have a pair of Irish twins together.

In her tell-all podcast with Lungelo KM, she revealed that her marriage ended due to infidelity.

She expressed that admitting that she was cheated on made her feel as though she was not good enough.

“No one likes being cheated on. It makes you question yourself a lot,” she said.

“Admitting I was being cheated on felt like saying I wasn’t good enough. People told me things – some true, some not. When you don’t know what to believe, you start losing your mind. I was highly embarrassed. I wasn’t in a good place,” she continued.

THE REALITY STAR SAYS SHE TRIED TO FIX HER MARRIAGE

Annie expressed that she tried to fix her marriage because she wanted to protect her family.

“I just wanted to protect all of us, even though I wasn’t being protected. Everybody knew things I didn’t. Still, I wanted to protect myself, my children, and our family. Even though I knew he was doing his thing, I still wanted us to be a family,” she said.

ANNIE AND KGOLO SPLIT THREE YEARS AGO

To the shock of many, Annie expressed that she and Kgolo have split for almost three years now. This means the pair split in December 2022.

She expressed that she still wants to forgive the father of her two children.

“I am still fighting the unforgiveness. They say time heals – I’m waiting for time to do its job,” she added.
