Kaizer Chiefs have officially signed midfielder Lebohang Maboe, marking their 10th acquisition of the current season.
In a X post on Tuesday afternoon, the Soweto giants welcomed Maboe to the Kaizer Chiefs family.
Maboe was loaned out to SuperSport United in January by Mamelodi Sundowns.
He was a target for Durban City coach Gavin Hunt, who revealed that he wanted to sign Maboe, but the 30-year-old has chosen to sign for Amakhosi.
Busy transfer window
The Soweto giants have been busy in the market, recently announcing the arrivals of Etiosa Ighodaro, Luke Baartman and Asanele Velebayi, in addition to the earlier signings of Ethan Chislett, Flavio Silva, Nkanyiso Shinga, Siphesihle Ndlovu, Thabiso Monyane and Paseka Mako.
Amakhosi, who are off to a perfect start in the 2025/26 Betway Premiership season having won all three of their matches to date, next face defending champions Mamelodi Sundowns on Wednesday, 27 August.
Kick-off is at 19:30.
