This former Kaizer Chiefs youth player has just signed for Mamelodi Sundowns.
Kaizer Chiefs product, Katlego Ntsabeleng, is set to return from the USA.
Thereafter, he will be joining Mamelodi Sundowns on loan.
CHIEFS PRODUCT JOINS SUNDOWNS
Ex-Chiefs attacker, Katlego Ntsabeleng, has signed a loan deal with Sundowns.
“FC Dallas has loaned midfielder Katlego ‘Tsiki’ Ntsabeleng to Mamelodi Sundowns FC of the South African Premiership until June, 2026,” iDiskiTimes reported.
Meaning, he will make the flight from the USA back to South Africa. The Chiefs product will join up with The Brazilians at Chloorkop.
He has been playing his football in the USA. Alongside the likes of former Amakhosi star Njabulo Blom and ex-Sundowns man Cassius Mailula.
FROM AMAKHOSI TO THE USA TO SUNDOWNS
The University of Coastal Carolina scouted the former youth player while he was still studying at the University of Johannesburg and playing for Chiefs’ youth team.
“The former Chiefs youth player was scouted by the University of Coastal Carolina while he was playing for UJ and was offered a scholarship. He went on to play for the American College for two years,” The same publication added.
So, Ntsabeleng has gone from Joburg to Soweto to the USA. Now, he is heading back to SA and straight to Chloorkop.
Furthermore, he becomes just the second player to join Sundowns this transfer window. Fawaaz Basadien is the only permanent deal completed by The Brazilians so far.
Furthermore, he is a highly valued player too. According to TransferMarkt’s latest player evaluation, he is worth over R16 million.
