After many delays and much speculation, Miss SA organisers have finally revealed the upcoming announcement of the Top 10 finalists.
This comes after the national pageant recently came under new ownership under the Motsepe Group of Companies, led by wealthy businessman Patrice Motsepe.
MISS SA ORGANISERS SET TO ANNOUNCE TOP 10
In an Instagram post on 14 September, Miss SA organisers revealed that the Top 10 finalists would be announced on Tuesday. Additionally, the pageant would reveal the date for its finale.
The incoming queen will succeed Mia Le Roux, who was crowned in August 2024.
Organisers have also teased three new celebrity judges whose identities will also be revealed this week.
GEARING UP FOR MISS UNIVERSE
The new Miss SA 2025 is likely to represent South Africa at the Miss Universe pageant, which takes place on 21 November in Thailand.
Around 130 countries will compete on the global stage, where Denmark’s Victoria Kjær Theilvig will hand over her crown.
For the first time, Mozambique, Palestine, and Saudi Arabia will compete at the pageant.
After Mia Le Roux’s surprise withdrawal, South Africa will return to the stage after last competing in 2023.
