Springboks: Three more players to be sent home

The Springboks are set for two decisive Test matches against Argentina in the Rugby Championship on 27 September at Kings Park in Durban and on 4 October 2025.

Meanwhile, Rassie Erasmus recently named his 33-man Springboks squad for their remaining two Rugby Championship Tests. However, you can expect a couple of changes to the squad over the next few days and weeks.

SPRINGBOKS COULD ADD A FEW PLAYERS

As reported on The South African, The Springboks will be naming a 30-man squad for their final Test of the Rugby Championship against Argentina in London.

Meaning, THREE players in the current squad will be sent home.

It remains to be seen which players will be sent home. However, a minimum of three Boks will be excluded from the 30-man squad for the trip to London.

Furthermore, this number could grow to as high as six if more players are added to the Springboks squad.

Additionally, leading reports have confirmed that up to three players could be added to the squad.

This is because Aphelele Fassi, Lood de Jager and Jean-Luc Du Preez have all been ruled out. So, if three players are added, then six players will be omitted from the travelling squad heading to London.
