Nandipha Magudumana brazenly flaunted her diamond wedding ring in court, despite her rumoured romantic reunion with former flame, Thabo Bester.
The celebrity skin doctor is currently facing charges of orchestrating Bester’s 2022 prison escape, defrauding the public, and violating multiple bodies.
The mom-of-two and her co-accused are expected to make their next court appearance on 5 December amid her ConCourt legal bid.
NANDIPHA FLAUNT’S WEDDING RING AFTER REUNITING WITH THABO BESTER
On Friday, 19 September, Nandipha Magudumana, Thabo Bester, and their co-accused appeared in the Bloemfontein Magistrates Court over a case management sitting ahead of their trial.
Nandipha and Bester – allegedly former lovers – smiled and chatted with each other before and after court. According to social media users, their body language portrayed their strong romantic feelings toward each other.
Despite “blushing” over Bester, Nandipha boldly wore her wedding ring, a symbol of her lawful union to husband Mkhuseli Magudumana.

Nandipha and Mkhuseli – also a doctor – wed in 2013. They have two children together.
According to court papers, Nandipha and her estranged husband are now separated.
Surprisingly, the former hotshot businesswoman last saw her kids in 2023, when she was accused of “abandoning” them for Bester. Neither her children nor her husband have had contact with her since her arrest, her family confirmed in the Netflix docuseries, Beauty and the Bester.
‘I’M FEELING GOOD’
Nandipha Magudumana made a striking appearance in court, wearing a black suit and a yellow necktie. She sported a freshly braided hairstyle and bold red nails.
“I’m feeling good”, she said, smiling to an eNCA reporter.
When asked if she approved of the documentary Beauty and the Bester, Nandipha replied: “No comment”.
The 36-year-old reportedly had a contractual agreement with Netflix, in which she was paid to provide her personal archives.
NANDIPHA’S HUSBAND: ‘I DON’T KNOW HER’
In Beauty and the Bester, Nandipha’s brother Nkosinathi Sekeleni confirmed that her husband, Mkhuseli Magudumana, has distanced himself from his former spouse.
In one episode, Nkosinathi said, “I called her husband and asked, ‘How are you doing, how are the kids doing? How do you feel?’”
“He said he doesn’t know this Nandipha. This is not the Nandipha he married, who is the mother of his kids. Something that he can’t explain got hold of Nandipha.
“All he wishes is for the law to take its course. And at least tell his kids ‘Mommy has got questions to answer”.
In Beauty and the Bester, a voice recording by Thabo Bester suggested he reached out to Nandipha – whom he had allegedly met years before – to rekindle their relationship in 2017. At the time, he was serving time for rape and murder at the Mangaung Correctional Centre.
