Orlando Pirates target nets for Bafana Bafana

Orlando Pirates target Sinoxolo Kwayiba was on target as Bafana Bafana defeated Mozambique in an international friendly match in Polokwane on Tuesday evening.

Kwayiba and Ashley Cupido scored two goals in the second half to hand Hugo Broos’ men another convincing win. Bafana will now focus on the FIFA World Cup qualifiers, which resume in September.

After the 2-0 win against Mozambique, Kwaniba was named Man of the Match. During his Man of the Match interview, the Bafana Bafana forward was asked about his potential move to Orlando Pirates.

“I’m happy for the performance of today, but I want to do more. Let’s hope it’s gonna happen,” he told SABC Sport.

“I’m hoping to play for a big team and then after going to play overseas – that’s my dream and it’s gonna happen.

Orlando Pirates to sign Bafana forward?

“A team of the big-three, I won’t mention any names. I won’t mention anyone but I want to play for the one of three.” Kwayiba said.

According to iDiski Times, the Chippa United striker scored six times last season, but it looks more likely that he will play in black and white. Orlando Pirates already have two Bafana strikers, Evidence Makgopa and Tshegofatso Mabasa.

Should Pirates sign Kwayiba or should they sign a top striker like Mayele?
