Afrikaner gospel singer Danie Botha is gearing up for the “Rapture”, and what he believes is Jesus’ return to earth this week. The entertainer claims that God personally gave him the message.
Botha is one of many who have shared their predictions and prophecies about what they believe is the “end of the world.” Others include South African preacher Joshua Mhlakela, who shared similar sentiments.

Speaking to podcaster Izak du Plessis last week, Danie Botha shared his message about the “Rapture”
According to the gospel singer, on 23 or 24 September, the skies would open and Jesus would return to earth.
The singer claimed that God had revealed the message to him while he was lying in bed. He added that it was “not a dream.”
He said: “I realised now I have a responsibility. God told me to tell the world and South Africa. I don’t have even one percent doubt. We’re going to see Jesus on 23 and 24 September.”

Earlier this month, pastor Joshua Mhlakela shared similar comments about his divine message from God.
The preacher claims that “Judgement Day” will take place on “23 or 24 September”.
Speaking on the Cettwinz TV YouTube channel, he said: “The Rapture is upon us. Whether you are ready or not.
“I saw Jesus sitting on his throne. And I could hear him very loud and clear saying, ‘I am coming soon.’”
The pastor added, “He said to me on the 23rd and 24th of September 2025, ‘I will come back to the Earth.’”
According to the preacher, Jesus’s return would be announced by the Feast of Trumpets, which would ring in the Rapture and Judgment Day.
