A MARRIED At First Sight UK bride has hit back at trolls after she was reported to Ofcom and branded “vile” for “fat-shaming” her groom.
Recruitment consultant Sarah, 31, tied the knot with team building host Dean, also 31, and she has not hidden the fact that she doesn’t fancy him – and it has not gone down well with fans.

The controversial bride has come under fire this week over a series of comments she has made to Dean – particularly about his weight.
However, following a huge backlash, Sarah has now taken to social media to have her say to the “trolls”.
The Married At First Sight 2025 star posted a message on her Instagram Stories, after some fans threatened to phone Ofcom following some of comments towards Dean.
Hitting back against the backlash, Sarah posted: “This one is for the trolls.
“So many people inspire me be nothing like them.”
MAFS BACKLASH
The backlash started in the opening episode of this year’s Married At First Sight.
It came when Sarah revealed she “didn’t fancy him”, and on their honeymoon she told her groom that she had never been out with someone as “big” as him.
In last night’s episode, she was seen heard talking to the camera about what it would take to get a “spark” with Dean, to which she bluntly replied: “Get some tattoos, lose some weight.”
Dean also asked her a similar question “Would it (the spark between them” be any different if I wasn’t as big?”
To which she replied: “Erm, probably.”
Dean was then seen looking devastated at her reply.
OFCOM THREAT
Viewers have been quick to flock to Dean’s side, and call out Sarah’s behaviour and fat-shaming.
One posted: “Sarah is definitely judging his weight though because there’s nothing wrong with his appearance.”
A second commented: “Dean saying he’s had exes asking him to loose weight and the first thing Sarah asks is does he hit the gym, terrific pairing as always ‘experts’.”
A third said: “Sarah is vile!”
Some fans have even gone so far as to report the moment to telly watchdog Ofcom.
“So happy that my annual hate watch that makes me report Channel 4 to Ofcom literally every year is baaaaaack #mafsuk“.
