A BODY confident woman in her fifties has rubbished the suggestion that people should dress their age – despite brutal trolls saying she looks ”desperate”.

Stylish Sue Giers, from HamburgGermany, previously confessed that trolls tell her to “dress her age” and call her a “granny” – but she doesn’t listen to their unsolicited advice.

According to the Instagram star, ”owning” the moment can also transform the way people perceive you[/caption]

The business owner loves showing off her enviable figure in teeny swimwear and risqué dresses while everyone else is sporting thick autumn jackets.

The mum is no stranger to causing a stir with her daring outfits online – and one of the latest ensembles is no exception.

In the now-viral video, which has racked up a staggering 4million views, Sue shared her tips to feel more confident in your clothes.

Rocking denim micro shorts paired and a slinky bodysuit with a low neckline, Sue revealed that despite ”everybody staring” at her, she found it empowering.

Whilst some may feel awkward catching strangers’ eyes on them on the street, mum Sue proved it was all about your perspective – and the same comments can give her a boost ”of confidence”.

The German entrepreneur, who boats close to 450k followers on the platform, also shared that she doesn’t care what others think of her daring ensembles.

The fashionista wrote in the caption: ”I’m 56 and I dress for myself. Not for approval. Not for rules. Not for age labels.

”Confidence is the best thing you can wear and it makes any outfit shine.”

Dropping knowledge bombs, Sue also listed her three go-to ”mindset and style tips” she lives by.

”Dress for your energy, not your age. If a piece makes you feel alive, wear it.

”Focus on fit and feeling. Clothes should empower you and be,” Sue went on in the post.

It’s not just your outfit that can make all the difference – according to the Instagram star, ‘owning’ the moment can also transform the way people perceive you.

”Walk, smile, stand tall – confidence transforms even the simplest outfit.

Fashion doesn’t stop at 50. Self-expression doesn’t expire. Start in your head, choose joy, and the rest follows,” the uplifting message continued.

Why women should wear bikinis no matter their age or shape

IF you think you should hide your body this summer – think again!

Fabulous Magazine’s Fashion Director, Tracey Lea Sayer has

Times have changed since 2015 when Protein World spent £250,000 on an ad campaign of a slim 20-something bikini clad model asking the reader “Are you beach body ready?” The uproar that followed about the objectification of women was global. Branded offensive, irresponsible and harmful, the verdict on the campaign and the social media uproar was well documented, and rightly so.

Now, I am happy to say that all sizes of women are represented in swimwear across the media landscape. Brands like JD Williams, In The Style and New Look, to name just a few, all work with models of all sizes and ages to promote their swimwear.

My social media feed is also full of ladies of all ages and sizes looking Fabulous in their swimmies. What started out as a trickle of shy bikini-clad selfies has now become a body-positive movement that makes us all feel good to get into our swimwear.

And why shouldn’t we! Our bodies are all completely different and we should be celebrating that fact.

At 53, I love bikinis, I love having an all over tan in the summer with as few white bits as possible. I don’t want to dumb myself down as I get older, I want to celebrate that I am still here! My aim is to keep on wearing bikinis well into my 80s if I am lucky enough to get there.

I have learnt to love the aging process. I will never look like I did in my 20s again, but I do enjoy looking after myself way more than I did back then. A better diet, more exercise and a lot of self-care makes me feel good on the inside as well as the outside.

I love that other cultures like to celebrate their elders. I think we should embrace this in western society instead of just fetishizing youth.

Aging isn’t something to be feared but embraced.

Wear the damn bikini, I am going to!

But while Sue looked phenomenal, the teeny outfit sparked a mixed bag of reactions, with thousands of critics dubbing the look ”desperate”.

One person said: ”Confidence is quiet, insecurity is loud.”

”Of course they are staring at you, you are ridiculous!” read another brutal comment.

”This is not confident. It’s desperate,” someone else chimed in.

Luckily for the German fashionista, it wasn’t all negative – as there were also plenty of fans hitting back at the keyboard warriors.

”I personally would not wear them they are too short for my taste it’s not about age or confidence but hay if they make you feel fabulous go for it,” wrote one person.

”Keep being yourself. You look fantastic,” a fan told Sue who posts under the username @suegiers.

”why is everybody hating? lol? she‘s just doing her thing, love that,” kind Instagram user commented.
