Delivery driver’s ‘disgusting’ note leaves people speechless – all customer wanted was a McDonald’s

A DELIVERY driver’s “disgusting” note has left people feeling speechless – all the customer had wanted was a McDonald’s meal.

When we’re tucking into a Big Mac and fries, the last thing we want is a vile riddle scribbled on our delivery bag putting us off our food.

A McDonald's delivery bag with a joke handwritten on it that reads: "WHAT DOES A Door dash driver and a gynecologist have in common? We can Both Smell It but not eat it".

But unfortunately for one person, a driver left a rude comment on their Maccies brown delivery bag.

An image of the offensive package was posted to Instagram and captioned: “I am speechless.”

On the bag the driver had scribbled a vile riddle: “What does a door dash driver and a gynaecologist have in common?

“We can both smell it but not eat it.”

The image itself was captioned: ” I just wanted McDonalds Bro”.

Social media users flocked to the comments section and one wrote: “And men wonder why women want to be left alone…

“Order food and get delivered a hand scripted note on it that your delivery driver is thinking about smelling and eating.

“This is the daily intrusive bs we deal with. If you’re a straight man and disagree do you want your order of wings to be delivered with a message that someone wants to f*** your peach and they know where you live?

Another added: “Why are you giving this a platform?”

While a third said: “Nah, I’d be reporting that!”

“Disgusting!” exclaimed another.

While a fifth person wrote: “What vile human done that!”

The Sun has contacted DoorDash for comments on the incident but has not heard back.

McDonald’s has made major changes to its reward scheme

Meanwhile, McDonald’s customers are not impressed after the fast food giant made major changes to its rewards scheme.

How to save at McDonald’s

You could end up being charged more for a McDonald’s meal based solely on the McDonald’s restaurant you choose.

Research by The Sun found a Big Mac meal can be up to 30% cheaper at restaurants just two miles apart from each other.

You can pick up a Big Mac and fries for just £2.99 at any time by filling in a feedback survey found on McDonald’s receipts.

The receipt should come with a 12-digit code which you can enter into the Food for Thought website alongside your submitted survey.

You’ll then receive a five-digit code which is your voucher for the £2.99 offer.

There are some deals and offers you can only get if you have the My McDonald’s app, so it’s worth signing up to get money off your meals.

The MyMcDonald’s app can be downloaded on iPhone and Android phones and is quick to set up.

You can also bag freebies and discounts on your birthday if you’re a My McDonald’s app user.

The chain has recently sent out reminders to app users to fill out their birthday details – otherwise they could miss out on birthday treats.

Eagle-eyed fans noticed that the number of points you need, versus what you get, has shifted.

The discussion was launched over on a Facebook page after one user spotted they now need 5,500 points to redeem it against a Big Mac.

Sharing a screen grab of their reward scheme app, the disgruntled customer wrote: “Maccies have changed their reward system a bit, there’s now a 5,500 points section and some things like Big Macs are now in there, whereas before they were in the 4,000 points section.

“Other things have moved up a section too,” they added.

A popular McDonald’s treat has been axed

This comes after Maccies axed a popular item just days after it was added to menus.

The brand new Caramel Loaded McFlurry had been added to menus on September 10, just as the annual Monopoly game was launched.

But a McDonald’s spokesperson has confirmed the ice cream dessert was quickly removed because of a “quality control issue”.

The Caramel Loaded McFlurry had cost £2.49 and featured caramel cubes, white chocolate-covered shortbread pieces, milk chocolate chips, and a drizzle of caramel sauce on dairy ice cream.

Maccies fans had described it as “unreal” and “10/10”, praising the combination of chocolate and caramel flavours.

But others had complained the caramel chunks were “rock hard” – with one person saying they had cracked their tooth.

However, the fast food giant has revealed exclusively to The Sun that the Toffee Crisp McFlurry is now back on the menu.
