ROSÉ fans have had their Christmas wishes granted, as M&S has brought back an iconic festive tipple after 10 years.
Now that the weather has started to turn, and the nights are getting longer, many of us will be longing for cosy evenings by the fire, sipping on mulled wine and eating tasty chocolate treats.

Christmas has come early at M&S[/caption]
If you’re more of a rosé fan than a red wine drinker, you may think that the spiced Christmas drink isn’t for you.
However, thanks to the posh supermarket, you can now enjoy your favourite drink with a Christmas twist, as M&S launches Rosé Mulled Wine.
Priced at just £6 a bottle, the fruity wine lands in stores from today, meaning you can get in to the Christmas spirit extra early.
M&S was the first supermarket to launch the modern twist on the festive tipple 10 years ago, and as rosé has soared in popularity over the summer, has decided to bring it back.
The yuletide beverage has been expertly blended in Germany, the home of mulled wine, and features notes of zesty orange, vanilla, and traditional mulling spices.
To enjoy the drink, all you need to do is gently warm it in a pan, and serve it with a slice of orange and a cinnamon stick.
It’s the perfect refreshment to have alongside tasty Christmas treats such as mince pies or turkey sandwiches.
Maddie Love, Product Developer at M&S Food, said: “We know rosé isn’t just for summer and so we’re declaring that rosé season is officially all year round with the triumphant return of our Rosé Mulled Wine.
“I’ve always preferred lighter styles of wine and last Christmas our first-to-market White Mulled Wine was such a hit that we thought: why don’t we give it a delicious pink twist?
“It’s the perfect way to add some much-needed cosiness when the autumn days are starting to get chillier – I love it with a warm mince pie.”
Last year M&S launched the hugely popular White Mulled Wine, and the supermarket has confirmed that this will return to stores in the coming weeks.
Regular mulled wine and an alcohol free version of the beverage will also be launching shortly, just in time for Christmas.
More festive drinks
If you’re keen to start the festive period early, Asda has launched an Irish cream liqueur people say is “better than Bailey’s”.
Mince pies, chocolate tubs and Christmas pudding are all treats synonymous with the end of the year, but nothing makes the winter season feel cosier like a glass of smooth cream liquor.

Whilst Bailey’s may seem like the obvious choice to go for when looking to treat yourself during the colder months, with bottles selling at Ocado for a whopping £23.50, you may be better off with a more purse friendly solution.
Brady’s Country Cream is priced at just £6.08 for a 70cl bottle and has the same thick creamy taste as the more premium version.
The Irish Cream Liquor is made with dairy cream, spirit and Irish Whiskey, and is crafted in small batches on Ireland‘s north west coast.
It’s perfect for adding to coffees, using in cooking, or enjoying on it’s own as a Christmas treat.
If you’re looking for the real deal, the cheapest place to buy Bailey’s at the moment is at Sainsbury’s where Nectar Card holders can pick up a 70cl bottle for £11.
By sharp contrast, most other leading supermarkets in Britain are selling the beloved liquid gold for at least £17.
