KEELY HODGKINSON has irked athletics fans across the pond with a TikTok video about ‘grating’ American voices.
The Team GB star will have added to her fanbase by medaling at this month’s World Athletics Championships in Tokyo, where she won bronze in the 800m.

That followed a string of other huge results on the global stage, including a gold medal at the 2024 Paris Olympics.
But Hodgkinson seemingly has no problem with causing a stir.
In one of her latest TikTok posts, Hodgkinson is seen in a restaurant sipping a drink with her headphones in.
The caption reads: “When there’s Americans in the restaurant.”
And the backing track features a woman saying: “Now I want to sit back and relax and enjoy my evening, when all of a sudden I hear this agitating, grating voice.”
Hodgkinson added the second caption: “They’re really the loudest in the room [crying laughing emojis].”
Although Hodgkinson’s dig was likely tongue in cheek, the 23-year-old was bombarded by a handful of – presumably Stateside – viewers.
American hurdling star Masai Russell was among those to chime in as she wrote: “Heyyyy not too much”.

Another TikTok user commented: “Be nice to your American fans.”
A third posted: “WHAT DO YOU MEAN?!?”
Others took aim at Hodgkinson’s bronze medal showing.
The Brit was fancied to go for gold in Tokyo but ended up finishing behind Lilian Odira of Kenya and Team GB’s Georgia Hunter Bell.
One critic commented on the TikTok post: “Too busy making TikTok videos ended up finishing third.”
And another wrote: “3rd place [blushing emoji].”
Hodgkinson took time out to reply to Masai Russell’s words as she said of Americans: “Y’all are the most fun.”
