‘Last dance two’ – Derek Chisora, 41, announces 50th fight for December 13 in Manchester

DEREK CHISORA has announced that he will return to the ring in Manchester on December 13.

The British heavyweight favourite, 41, produced a brilliant points victory over Sweden’s Otto Wallin at Co-op Live in February.

Chisora’s next bout will be his 50th, and earlier this year he claimed, his final.

The former world title challenger has announced the date and city of the landmark fight, but not yet the opponent.

Posting on his Instagram story, Chisora said: “Yo, let me tell you something. Are you ready?

“Let me tell you something. We are going back to Manchester, 13th of December.

“Road to 50, shut down. Do you understand? So book your hotels, book your restaurants.

“Me and Queensberry, we are coming to shut it down in Manchester, 13th of December.

“Opponent will be announced soon. I had one, but the big boss took him. Can’t really argue with what the big boss wants.

“Road to 50, in Manchester, shut down. The last dance two, happening in Manchester. War!”

Following his win over Wallin, Chisora asked the Manchester crowd who they wanted his next bout to be against.

The victorious star held up pictures of Oleksandr Usyk, Anthony Joshua and Daniel Dubois, challenging the crowd to cheer loudest for the one they wanted to see him fight.

Chisora is the mandatory challenger to Usyk’s IBF world title.

But the Ukrainian, 38, is first set to face the winner of Joseph Parker and Fabio Wardley‘s October 25 bout.

Joshua, meanwhile, is likely to be out until next year as he recovers from elbow surgery.

It is also thought that Dubois, while a possible Chisora opponent, is unlikely.

The December 13 show in Manchester is also set to feature rising British superstar Moses Itauma.

But according to The Ring, Itauma will NOT be fighting Chisora.
