Asylum seekers get free cabs to GP while Brit OAPs can’t see a doc – migrant crisis is a joke but I know how to solve it

THE news that illegal migrants to this country get £600 taxis to take them to a GP when they’re feeling a bit poorly has infuriated me.

Nobody should be forced to endure such lengthy minicab trips. It is stifling and claustrophobic. And you have to listen to the driver jabbering at you about how there are too many asylum seekers in the country. Bigot!

What would be fairer and agreed under international legislation is for the migrants to be transported on giant, cushioned litters.

Held aloft and fed grapes by former members of Girls Aloud. PEELED grapes. They should also be allowed to disembark from the litter to greet the cheering crowds at each town they travel through.

Please, forgive the heavy sarcasm. It’s just that this stuff has become surreal. Even the migrants themselves think it’s a gargantuan waste of money to book cabs to take them 250 miles to a GP.

The first and most obvious thing to say is — typical NHS. If the health service worked, the migrant could be satisfactorily treated at whatever hospital he was closest to.

But the second thing is this. Do you get a taxi paid for to take you to hospital? Nope, you have to pay the immoral parking charges, same as the rest of us.

But then I’m guessing you’re also not billeted in a £200-per-night hotel, paid for by the rest of us. I’ll also bet that if you live in the London Borough of Lambeth you don’t get financial help to pay for your children’s school uniform. The migrants in that odious borough get £100 to help them out. That’s nice, isn’t it?

The migrants also get taxis to take them to GP appointments and to the dentist. Once again, their health treatment is all free. All paid for by the rest of us.

We learned about this through reporter Sue Mitchell’s excellent File on 4 programme, on BBC Radio 4.

We also learned that the migrants can’t wait to have kids, because they believe it will enhance their prospects of not being kicked out.

They’re probably right about that, aren’t they? But then very few are kicked out anyway. I’m not sure what they have to do in order to be denied leave to stay.

Massive tax bills

The courts have let all manner of rapists, druggies, robbers and bandits remain here, so that their human rights are not violated.

Frankly, even if you were caught strangling the Duchess of Cambridge while providing sexual relief to a panda they’d probably let you stay.

It is all another indication that we’ve gone too far. Way, way, too far in our desire to be kind. What the establishment doesn’t get is that it is the rest of us who could do with some of that state kindness.

The people who struggle every month, doing the right thing, and can’t afford a holiday.

The ex-servicemen looking for work. The pensioner who can’t get a doctor’s appointment. The young family hit with massive tax bills.

Those are the people the Government — and badly run councils, like Lambeth — should be looking after. And it IS an “either/or” thing.

The Government needs to get its priorities in order.

Look after the people who are already British citizens.

And spend whatever is left over on a few mass deportations.

LET-OFF BEYOND BELIEF

Islamist Moussa Kadri received a suspended sentence for slashing and stabbing at protestor Hamit Coskun who had burned a copy of the Koran[/caption]

THE latest outrage from our confused and broken law courts? Islamist Moussa Kadri slashed and stabbed at protestor Hamit Coskun who had burned a copy of the Koran.

Coskun was protesting about the violent nature of the religion. Kadri duly proved his point by attacking him with a knife.

“And now I’m going to kill you,” he said.

How did magistrate Adam Hiddleston deal with this case of reli-giously motivated vio-lence? He gave the loath-some Kadri a suspended sentence and made him do community work.

He should have been charged with attempted murder, for a start. But not to send this psycho to prison is a green light to all other deranged Muslims who try to kill anyone who disses their religion.

As Lord Young, from the Free Speech Union, said: “The court is effectively saying that if you attack a blasphemer with a knife, he will be convicted of causing you harassment, alarm or distress and you won’t have to spend a day behind bars.” Exactly.

And what does it say about the seriousness with which London magistrates treat knife crime? Even by today’s standards this was a shocking decision. It will only confirm in the minds of many people that we have a two-tier justice system in this country.

Saying nasty things about asylum seekers online? A year and a half in prison. A Muslim trying to stab a non-believer to death? Nah, don’t worry about it, mate.

TRUMP TRUTH

PRESIDENT Trump is right. Europe does seem intent on destroying itself.

By letting in humongous numbers of immigrants from the Middle East, North Africa and the Indian sub-continent, we are changing the very fabric of our societies. And not for the better, either.

Nobody in Europe wants this. And yet few in Europe are prepared to take decisive action to stop it.

APPARENTLY a signal has come to us from a wormhole. Astronomers spotted it.

They wonder if it could be an alien race trying to contact us.

I suppose it could be a tentacled female alien equivalent of Bonnie Blue, advertising her three lady gardens to the entire universe.

Anyway, the signal has been named GW190521, which is catchy.

In a month’s time, when their excitement has died down, they’ll find out the signal was actually coming from a faulty microwave oven in the canteen.

THE Russians are believed to have electronically attacked a Spanish plane. The aircraft was carrying the Spanish defence minister.

This follows serious drone attacks in Denmark.

And Russian planes violating Estonian airspace. Sooner or later a shot is going to be fired in anger by Nato. Some of us believe that such a thing would be long overdue.

SIR Keir Starmer’s decision to recognise Palestine is arguably the most stupid, cowardly and dangerous of his calamitous year in office.

There is no state to recognise. And it has been done not because Starmer feels great sympathy for the Palestinians, but because he lives in perpetual fear of his own backbenchers.

All this decision does is reward the savages of Hamas. No wonder 87 per cent of Brits polled by political research group JL Partners think it is the wrong decision.

EDINBURGH University has just axed its undergrad course in Queer and Trans Geographies. Good.

One down, about 5,000 stupid, tendentious, identitarian, utterly useless university courses to go.

I hope this is the beginning of a sense of awareness in our unis that they ought to be teaching subjects that are actually important. And helpful to society.

Plumbing, for example. If you want to call it Queer Plumbing, just to keep the wokies happy, so be it.

Michael Portillo’s documentaries on how the north east of England civilised the world with rail travel are a must-watch[/caption]

IF you get a chance, watch Michael Portillo’s excellent documentaries on how the north east of England civilised the world with rail travel.

His BBC Two series, 200 Years Of Railways, starts with the Darlington to Stockton line, built in September 1825.

We should be making more of this wonderful invention than we are right now. It revolutionised the world. But it’s kind of forbidden these days to show pride in your nation’s history.
