Aldi’s Infusionist Shimmer Globes are back and available to buy in three mouthwatering flavours.

You can snap up the Toffee Flavoured Vodka Liqueur, Blood Orange Flavoured Gin Liqueur and Honey Flavoured Rum Liqueur – all for £13.99 a bottle.

They come in beautiful globe style bottles that include a festive shimmer which moves when shaken.

It’s a dupe of M&S’s popular snow globe gin liqueur which made a return last year for £20 a bottle.

‘Delicious’

The Blood Orange Flavour boasts zesty, fruity notes of blood orange and a juniper dry finish.

While the Honey Flavour Rum Liqueur features flavours of rich and golden honey with notes of honeycomb and a rum finish.

The Toffee Flavour Vodka Liqueur is a sweet and sticky premium vodka infused with toffee.

One eagle-eyed shopper found the globes at their local store and shared their discovery on popular Facebook group, Aldi UK Shoppers.

Posting a snap of their globe, they said: “The Infusionist Shimmer Globes, £13.99 in Aldi – snow globe style bottle.

“They also have blood orange flavoured gin liqueur and honey flavoured rum liqueur!

Users flocked to the comments in excitement, tagging their loved ones and sharing their thoughts.

One user said: Had this last year, delicious!”

“I got this last year, it’s so nice,” added another.

A third said: “Oh wow, I’m getting one for my in-laws for Christmas, they love toffee vodka. Thanks for sharing and the bottle looks lovely!”

More festive finds

M&S has also brought back another iconic Christmas tipple after a decade and it’s great news for rosé wine fans.

Priced at just £6 a bottle, the fruity mulled wine lands in stores from today, meaning you can get in to the Christmas spirit extra early.

The supermarket has also revealed its Christmas food to order range that launched this week including the return of an iconic chocolate.

How to save money on your food shop

Consumer reporter Sam Walker reveals how you can save hundreds of pounds a year:

Odd boxes – plenty of retailers offer slightly misshapen fruit and veg or surplus food at a discounted price.

Lidl sells five kilos of fruit and veg for just £1.50 through its Waste Not scheme while Aldi shoppers can get Too Good to Go bags which contain £10 worth of all kinds of products for £3.30.

Sainsbury’s also sells £2 “Taste Me, Don’t Waste Me” fruit and veg boxes to help shoppers reduced food waste and save cash.

Food waste apps – food waste apps work by helping shops, cafes, restaurants and other businesses shift stock that is due to go out of date and passing it on to members of the public.

Some of the most notable ones include Too Good to Go and Olio.

Too Good to Go’s app is free to sign up to and is used by millions of people across the UK, letting users buy food at a discount.

Olio works similarly, except users can collect both food and other household items for free from neighbours and businesses.

Yellow sticker bargains – yellow sticker bargains, sometimes orange and red in certain supermarkets, are a great way of getting food on the cheap.

But what time to head out to get the best deals varies depending on the retailer. You can see the best times for each supermarket here.

Super cheap bargains – sign up to bargain hunter Facebook groups like Extreme Couponing and Bargains UK where shoppers regularly post hauls they’ve found on the cheap, including food finds.

“Downshift” – you will almost always save money going for a supermarket’s own-brand economy lines rather than premium brands.

The move to lower-tier ranges, also known as “downshifting” and hailed by consumer expert Martin Lewis, could save you hundreds of pounds a year on your food shop.

Asda has also launched an Irish cream liqueur people say is “better than Bailey’s”.

But if you’re looking for the real deal, the cheapest place to buy Bailey’s at the moment is at Sainsbury’s where  Nectar Card holders can pick up a 70cl bottle for £11.

And if you’re looking for more Aldi dupes, the supermarket has launched a Christmas must-have that’s 664% cheaper.

The Christmas Munch Mix was spotted by a customer in the bargain retailer, and it’s 64% less than Sparks’ version.
