A MUM who spends hours getting “dolled up” to pick her son up has been BANNED from his playgroup by other mums who think she’s out to steal their husbands.
Jodie Weston, 30, has previously found herself hitting headlines because of her controversial lifestyle and divisive opinions, which have also been documented on TV shows including Rich Kids Go Skint, Rich Holiday Poor Holiday and Eating with My Ex.

She said that other mums “get the hump” when she dolls herself up to pick two-year-old Koa-Zayde from the playgroup[/caption]
She’s even found herself being told to dress more “modestly” at swimming lessons[/caption]
She’s even considering having a breast reduction because of the amount of unwanted attention her assets are getting her[/caption]
Now London-based DJ and influencer Jodie has revealed she’s been told she’s not welcome at two-year-old son Koa-Zayde’s group, thanks to her “inappropriate” outfit choices.
“I love getting dolled up to do fun activities with my son,” she told NeedToKnow.
“It’s a few hours of the day where I can spend it all on myself, which is a rarity nowadays.
“I get to make myself look like the best version of me – and it’s not for anyone else’s approval – but for my own self-confidence only.
“But some mums have gotten the hump and think I’m doing it to steal their husbands away from them.”
She insisted that wearing a low-cut top doesn’t mean she’s trying to “flaunt my assets“, while a “lacy leather corset and skintight trousers” are “staples” in her wardrobe.
“What am I meant to do? Have a load of separate clothes that don’t upset them?” she sighed.
“I can’t help the way my body looks – and it’s not my fault I look better than them.”
And despite the fact she feels “awful” about being banned from the group, she won’t stop being “passionate about maintaining my identity” – especially since becoming a mother.
“I shouldn’t have to sacrifice being glamorous just because I have a child,” Jodie, who believes she looks like a young Dolly Parton, insisted.
She also said she thinks the main reason the ban came about is because of the swimming costume she wore to take Koa-Zayde for lessons – which led to her getting “dirty looks” and receiving snide remarks from other parents.
“I’ve been told to wear a more modest swimsuit before,” Jodie, who credits motherhood for giving her a “free boob job” – taking her from a C to an E – continued.
“My boobs did keep popping out, but it is what it is – they’re enormous.
“I had one mum tell me to go to Sports Direct and get a proper costume.
“So many of them eyeball me, looking me up and down with disgust.”
It’s not only her costume that was deemed inappropriate for the lessons – her false lashes have also caused problems too.
What to wear on the school run
PTA Chairwoman Emma Kent’s School Run Style Tips:
- Avoid the Gym Gear Trap:
- Change out of workout clothes for the afternoon pick-up to avoid looking lazy or unhygienic.
- Leave Pyjamas at Home:
- Never turn up at school in pyjamas as it suggests a lack of effort and can lead to unflattering labels.
- Be Cautious with Bold Fashion Choices:
- Avoid leopard-print leggings and mixing boho pieces with animal print. Stick to styles that suit you best.
- Carry an Emergency Kit:
- Keep a spare top or nice jacket in the car for unexpected spills or stains, and oversized sunglasses to hide tired eyes.
- Embrace Bargains:
- Proudly share thrift finds but avoid second-hand pyjamas or swimsuits without hygiene stickers.
- Don’t Be a Copycat:
- Avoid copying another mum’s style too closely to prevent gossip. Praise the other mum’s taste if it happens accidentally.
- Dress Age-Appropriately:
- Avoid overly revealing outfits and stick to classy, not trashy, looks, especially if over 35.
- Always Wear a Bra:
- Ensure you’re wearing a bra to avoid awkward conversations with teachers and unwanted attention.
- Choose Jeans Carefully:
- Avoid low-slung skinny jeans that create a muffin top. Opt for mom jeans for a flattering and comfortable fit.
- Beware of School Gate Gossips:
- Avoid showing up in scruffy clothing or with wet hair as there are always mums at the gates who will notice.
- Brag About Your Bag:
- Use a stylish yet practical tote bag instead of a bag for life from a supermarket.
- Ditch Crocs and Socks:
- Avoid pairing Crocs with socks. Opt for versatile Chelsea boots for a stylish and comfortable look.
“I had one awkward moment recently where my lashes couldn’t fit in the goggles as they were too big,” she said.
“They were flapping about in the wind for the whole lesson.
“One mum said: ‘I think you’re going to take off flying with those things.’
“I didn’t find it funny; I just brushed it off.”
And being trolled over her body shape is something Jodie now experiences on a daily basis – both in person and online – and it’s getting so bad that she’s even thinking about getting a reduction.
“All people seem to notice now is my boob size,” she sighed.
“I feel comfortable with my body, but I’ve felt the need to speak with doctors about getting them reduced.
“At first, I loved my pregnancy boobs, but now, they’re a hindrance.
“I feel ungrateful to the universe, though.
“But it’s causing too much hassle for me in all aspects of life.
“My content is often censored on social media, and it’s just my body wearing clothes.
“It doesn’t seem like I’m accepted anywhere.”
