What mattress deals were in the Black Friday sale last year?
Last year’s Black Friday mattress sale was a strong one, with big-name brands running some of their best prices of the year.
Many best-sellers dropped to as much as half price, and the reductions covered every size, including kids’ options.
Hybrid and memory foam models both featured heavily, making it easy to match firmness, support, and budget without compromising on quality.
It wasn’t just the headline discounts that stood out. Retailers packed in extras like free pillows, bedding bundles and mattress protectors, plus extended trials, warranties and fast, often free delivery.
Most deals applied across the full size range, from small single to super king, and there were short, time-limited promos sprinkled through the weekend for anyone quick enough to grab them.
Accessories were also well worth a look. Shoppers saved on mattress toppers, pillows, and duvet sets, and there were competitive prices on bed frames and bases to complete a full sleep upgrade.
If this year follows the same pattern, expect a similar value with a few standout flash deals.
When is Cyber Monday 2025, and are mattress retailers taking part?
Cyber Monday falls on December 1, 2025.
Traditionally, Cyber Monday is the online-only extension of Black Friday, so you’ll find there are loads more deals and offers to be discovered ahead of the Christmas gifting period.
Generally speaking, if a retailer or brand has a sale on for Black Friday, it is very likely to also participate in Cyber Monday.

How much does shipping cost?
As a mattress is considered a large item, a delivery fee may apply, depending on where you choose to shop.
As a general rule of thumb, though, most ‘bed in a box’ brands offer free shipping as part of your purchase.
It’s best to check the delivery information on your preferred brand’s website.
Do mattress retailers offer any other discounts?
The best way to find additional discounts is to shop around.
Some retailers may offer deals on exclusive and clearance items, while others frequently provide shoppers with discount codes and coupons.
If you want to spread out the cost, many retailers offer payment options and financing options to help.

Is Black Friday the best time to buy a mattress?
Because online mattress sellers are so competitive, you can find a pretty hefty discount on mattresses year-round.
For instance, Simba regularly offers between 25% and 40% off its mattresses, and Emma occasionally offers up to 50% off on sleep bundles as well.
However, Black Friday is the time you’re pretty much guaranteed to see a discount — often upwards of 50% – on whatever brand of mattress you favour, including affordable brands such as Nectar.
Is it better to buy a mattress on Black Friday or Cyber Monday?
We think if you’re buying online, there won’t be a huge difference between the sale prices on Black Friday and Cyber Monday.
Based on previous years, we expect most “bed in a box” companies to offer a flat discount rate or promotion that will span the entire Black Friday weekend.
However, it’s best to shop around and sign up for newsletters, in case a brand decides to further drop prices at the last minute.
