Although the Geordie duo have been on the scene since back in 1990, fans were stunned to find out Dec’s age.

Ant surprised his best pal with a birthday gift of Dec’s beloved Dachshund named Rocky on a t-shirt.

Dec exclaimed: “I love it!”

But the surprises weren’t over there.

Ant then gave Dec a second present to unwrap and said it was even better than the first.

After ripping open the paper, Dec held up another t-shirt which had Ant’s face plastered on.

Ant screamed: “It’s me,” which left Dec crying with laughter.

Ant explained that the special gift had a very useful purpose.

He said: “So when we’re not working together, you can have me on your t-shirt and then hopefully nobody will call you Ant from now on.”

Dec replied: “Oh yeah, that’s good.”

“So if you where that, no one will ever get you confused again,” Ant said.

Dec then gave his followers a fashion show as he modelled the t-shirt with his dog’s face on.

Ant told his mate: “Happy birthday, we’re not allowed to mention the number but it’s a big one.”

Their followers were quick to take to the comment section and point out that Dec was 50 today.

But many were stunned at how youthful he still looks, with one writing: “Happy 50th Dec, you don’t look a day over 39.”

A second posted: “NO WAY, just had to google your age! Looking good Dec. Love the t-shirts.”

A third commented: “Looking good for 50.”

While this person gushed: “Happy Bday Dec, ageing like a fine wine.”

Ant and Dec appeared to be enjoying some time out after a busy time filming the All Stars series.

Earlier this month, it was revealed that the show was getting a shake-up – by handing the power over to the public.

The first series of the ITV spin-off aired in 2023, and saw famous faces from previous I’m a Celeb seasons return to compete once again, but this time in South Africa rather than Australia.

ITV bosses are set to bring together some of the most memorable campmates from series gone by so they can test themselves in brand new trials and challenges in the South African wilderness.

But in a twist to the first All Stars series, the public will have the power to decide who is crowned the ultimate legend 2026.

After weeks of shocks, showdown and survival, viewers will be able to have their say and cast the final vote in a live grand final broadcast direct from London.

Ant said: “The campmates really brought their A-game to the first series so we can’t wait to be back for more trials, challenges and surprises amongst the beautiful South African landscape.”

Dec added: “Having a live final is an exciting addition to the new series with the viewers choosing their IAC Legend and we’ve heard some of the new trials are truly epic, even by I’m A Celeb… standards!.”

The first series of I’m A Celebrity… South Africa saw the likes of Amir KhanGillian McKeithJoe Swash and Carol Vorderman battle it out for survival.

The celebrities faced their fears throughout the series in various trials and challenges, with Myleene Klass ultimately crowned the winner and named the first ‘I’m A Celebrity… Legend.’

The Sun exclusively revealed last week that Sinitta, who took part in the 2011 series, is in talks to return for All Stars.

And we also exclusively revealed how Olympian Mo Farah is swapping the Welsh castle from his series of I’m a Celeb for South Africa, after snubbing Strictly Come Dancing.
