BRITAIN faces a “violent struggle” from protesters claiming to be patriots, Sir Keir Starmer will warn today.
The PM will claim right-wingers – including some of those who marched in London – are preparing for a brutal fight for the nation.

Protestors such as those outside the Bell Inn, Epping, will be targeted by Starmer’s speech[/caption]
He will call on “progressives” such as himself to reclaim the British flag by bringing people together while also addressing genuine migration fears.
In striking remarks, he will lash out at an “industrialised infrastructure of grievance” amplified by social media.
He will say: “And, at its heart – its most poisonous belief – on full display at the protests here in London, just a week or two ago, that there is a coming struggle, a defining struggle, a violent struggle, for the nation. For all our nations.
“Now you don’t need to be a historian to know where that kind of poison can lead. You can just feel it.”
More than 100,000 people rallied in the capital at the “Unite the Kingdom” march organised by Tommy Robinson earlier this month.
Tech billionaire Elon Musk told those gathered at the demonstration that “violence is coming to you… You either fight back or you die.”
Sir Keir will tell like-minded leaders at the Progressive Action Summit in London today that they have to recognise concerns on illegal migration.
He will say: “It is not compassionate left-wing politics to rely on labour that exploits foreign workers and undercuts fair wages.
“But the simple fact that every nation needs to have control over its borders.”
In a veiled dig at Nigel Farage, he will hit out at “a politics of predatory grievance, preying on the problems of working people.”
Sir Keir has previously branded the Reform leader – who is leading him in the polls – as a “plastic patriot”.
The PM will be joined by Australian PM Anthony Albanese and Canadian PM Mark Carney.
