SOAP star Nikki Sanderson needed hospital treatment after a shocking treadmill accident left her with a glued chin and “several layers of skin” ripped from her arms and knees.
The 41-year-old actress shared the dramatic moment on Instagram with a warning for fans.

Her boyfriend, former Hollyoaks star Anthony Quinlan, joked under the post: “Awwwww… bless you. “I’m so conflicted about watching this coz it is funny but I don’t like seeing you hurt.
“What were you thinking and is the treadmill ok!Hollyoaks co-star Jessica Fox commented: “Mate…” while ex-Corrie pal Lucy Jo Hudson added: “Oh s**t nik!
“I started wetting myself at first, but Jesus that must have hurt x.”
Just weeks ago fitness fanatic Nikki wowed fans when she posed in a bikini and was branded “unreal” for her toned figure.
The TV favourite shot to fame on Coronation Street in 1999, but quit in 2005 and later joined Hollyoaks,

Nikki joined in 2012 as Maxine Minniver, a character involved in major storylines including domestic violence and miscarriage.
Earlier this year viewers saw Maxine leave the village in a taxi with daughter Minnie, making plans for a fresh start abroad.
Speaking to the Liverpool Echo about her departure, Nikki said: “It’s the weirdest feeling because it’s an end of an era. “It’s exciting but also really sad.
“It’s hard to describe how I’m feeling about it.
“It’s going to be very different and I’m kind of getting used to it I guess. It’s a different normal for me now.”
A source told The Sun she had decided to leave after turning 40.
“She met with bosses and told them of her plans to leave, she’d just turned 40 and felt the time was right to say goodbye to Maxine.
“She’s keen to explore other opportunities and is excited to get back out there.”
Fans have speculated she may even reprise her role as Candice Stowe, which she played in over 400 episodes of Coronation Street between 1999 and 2005.
Nikki remains grateful for the support of boyfriend Anthony Quinlan, who played Gilly Roach on Hollyoaks from 2005 to 2011.
The couple, together for three-and-a-half years, are happier than ever.
She recently said: “I don’t like to talk too much about my personal life, but I will say I’m the happiest I’ve ever been, Anthony is incredible.
“I’m in a wonderful, happy relationship, so let’s see what the future holds!
“Anthony really is my rock, he’s been incredibly supportive of me in my tough decision to leave Hollyoaks.”
