THE family of a missing grandmother have appealed to the public for information after they say “life will never be the same”, without her.
Nazire Koreli, 55, was last seen near her home in Welling, south-east London, on September 2024, but her disappearance was only reported to police in February this year.

In a recent call for information, Nazire’s daughter said: “the world stood still the day I discovered my mother was missing. Since then, not a day has passed without questions.
“She was a teacher for many years, beloved by many. A mother, daughter, sister, aunt, and now a grandmother.
“I have had to learn to live with the unknown and be strong for my family’s sake. But while she is missing, and we have no answers, life will never be the same.”
A man in his 50s was arrested on suspicion of Nazire’s murder by the Metropolitan Police on March 10, but he has since been released on bail while the cops continue investigating.
The Met said in a statement that they have undergone extensive searches of the teacher’s home and combed through hundreds of hours of CCTV footage.
“If you have information, no matter how small, that could help us find her, or bring us some closure, I urge you to please contact the police. Even the smallest detail could make the difference,” pleaded Nazire’s daughter.
The teacher is described as slim, 5ft 1in tall, with light brown hair, dark eyes and olive skin.
“It’s been a year since Nazire was last seen and her family remain without the answers they deserve,” said Detective Chief Inspector Wayne Jolley of Specialist Crime South.
He added: “We continue to keep and open mind and share our optimism with Nazire’s family that she will be found safe and well.
“Nazire had many friends and acquaintances in the Bexley area and we are asking anyone who knew her to think back and contact us if they saw her between September 2024 and March 2025.”
Scotland Yard urged the public to contact police if they have seen her.
A £20,000 reward for information has been offered up by independent charity Crimestoppers in order to help the investigation.
The charity guarantees that anyone who contacts them with information will remain completely anonymous.
The reward is available for three months and anyone with potential knowledge relating to Nazire’s disappearance is urged to call 0800 555 111 or visit the website.
Anyone with information can also contact the police by calling 101 and quoting CAD 5678 of 28 February.
