A MARRIED At First Sight UK star has said that Celebs Go Dating BANNED him from going on the show after he begged to take part.
Georges Berthonneau shot to fame on the hit E4 series in 2023 when he walked down the aisle to marry a stranger.

After his fame on the reality-dating show, Georges was keen to do some more TV – but stopped in his tracks when he got refused by Celebs Go Dating.
“I would be brilliant on a show like that,” he confessed in an exclusive chat with The Sun,
“I did Celebs Go Dating years ago, but they’re not interested.
“They said they’re not interested. They don’t want anyone from MAFS, they only wanted Ella [Morgan].”
Georges gushed over how the show “loved Ella” when he went on the show, so he said to them, “I went on it as a dater, surely you’d put me on as a datee?”
He then told us: “And they wouldn’t even listen. They wouldn’t even listen.
“You’re missing out on a trick here. You can show previous footage from before of me being young.
“Like, no one’s ever done that. You would have such a different story.
“No, you went on MAFS. No, you went on MAFS, we’re not interested, we’ve had MAFS,” he claims they said.
“Okay, cool. Your loss,” he snapped back.
Georges appeared on Celebs Go Dating in 2018, when he was 25 and dated TOWIE’s Chloe Sims.
At the time, he was listed as a model and supporting artist in the episode’s credits.
When asked if he would do other reality-dating shows, Georges said he would “within a heartbeat” – despite his MAFS story not having a happy ending.
“Do you want to know why?” he teased.
Which MAFS stars have appeared on Celebs Go Dating before?
THERE are not many Married At First Sight stars to have appeared on Celebs Go Dating before.
Only Ella Morgan from MAFS UK has appeared on CGD from the British franchise of the show.
Jessika Power from MAFS Australia is the only other MAFS alum to appear on CGD.
Ella featured in the 2024 series, while Jessika joined the show in 2022.
“Because there aren’t enough genuine blokes on the telly anymore,” he told us.
“I don’t look like any of them.
“They’ve all got tattoos, they’ve all got fake teeth, they all have handbags.
“They all have six-packs, they’re all skinny, they’re all this, they’re all that.
“I am so different.
“Like, I’m actually interesting, I actually have chat,” he said.
