
A BODY has been found in the search for a missing woman who vanished in a UK seaside town, sparking a major search.
Sian, 47, from Weymouth, Dorset was last seen around 1.30pm on Thursday, police said.

Dorset Police said a body of a woman was discovered on Friday morning that is believed to be Sian.
Her next of kin have been informed and are being supported by officers.
Sian’s death isn’t being treated as suspicious and authorities have notified HM Coroner.
Dorset Police released a statement yesterday saying they were trying to locate Sian with the assistance of a National Police Air Service (NPAS) helicopter.
A spokesperson for the force said on Friday: “Officers searching for a missing Weymouth woman are very sad to update that a body has been found.
“Sian, aged 47, was last seen at around 1.30pm on Thursday 25 September 2025 in the area of Bayard Road.
“On the morning of Friday 26 September 2025, the body of a woman was located. While formal identification is yet to take place, it is believed to be Sian and her next of kin has been informed.
“The death is not being treated as suspicious and HM Coroner has been notified. Our thoughts are with the family and loved ones of Sian at this extremely difficult time.”
