VIRGIN Island has had a flood of applicants eager to take part after seeing the first series of the saucy show.
The experiment featured a dozen innocents aged 22 to 30 on an intimacy course in a tropical retreat, with a group of “sex surrogates” standing by.

The six-part Channel 4 show was watched a staggering nine million times online after being aired in May.
An insider told The Sun: “When Virgin island was first advertised last year, nobody was entirely sure what it was or even if it was some kind of joke.
“But seeing what it entailed drastically boosted the numbers wanting to be on it.
“It proved particularly popular with young people.”
It was the channel’s biggest new unscripted series launch among viewers aged 16 to 34.
Of the dozen participants working with course leaders Celeste Hirschman and Danielle Harel, just one went all the way — 24-year-old accountant Dave slept with sex surrogate Kat on the final episode.
He later met a girl on a dating app and, after he admitted appearing on “a confidence-boosting TV show”, they viewed some of it together.
Dave said: “She watched four episodes, but it’s getting a bit much. You don’t want to see your partner with someone else, even if it was a year ago.”
However, he added that she did say that the difference between him before and after the show was like “watching a completely different person”.
Filming of the new series starts later this year. It is set to air in early 2027.
