Yet would you have gone one step further and got it right?

Ellie was joined by on Stephen Mulhern‘s ITV show by Paralympian Kadeena Cox and actor Adam James.

She told how she was competing on Celebrity Catchphrase to raise cash for the Spread a Smile charity.

The broadcaster and stand-up kept her cool as she reached the final Pyramid stage, correctly guessing answers including Beans on Toast, Ribcage and Bee Gees to clock up £25,000.

Yet it was the top box of the triangle that proved the sticking point.

It showed a man running around an athletics track, with a graph in hot pursuit.

The diagram featured an upward bent line and an arrow pointing to the runner yet, after a series of incorrect answers, Ellie ran out of time.

Host Stephen then revealed the correct response was “ahead of the curve.”

After her efforts he said: “Oh Ellie that was so exciting.

“That was unbelievable £25,000 and you made it to the top but you sadly ran out of time.

“But listen, forget about that.”

He then went on to detail the correct answer and said: “I know but listen who cares now, because you banked £6,300 earlier on.

“You’ve now just banked £25,000 so your your amazing charity you’re taking away £31,300.

“She did very well.”
