Updated Rugby Championship log after All Blacks’ victory

The Springboks would have certainly been keeping one eye on the clash between the All Blacks and Wallabies on Saturday, as well as how the result impacts the Rugby Championship log.

As it turned out, it certainly wasn’t a bad result for the Springboks as New Zealand failed to claim a bonus-point in their 33-24 victory, while denying the Wallabies any log points after they had come into the weekend leading the table.

The All Blacks now lead the standings on 14 points, with Australia second (11 points), just ahead of the Springboks (10 points) and Argentina in fourth (nine points).

South Africa and Argentina will face off at Kings Park later on Saturday (17:10 kick off), and from a Springbok perspective, even a win without a bonus-point would take them to the top of the standings ahead of the final round of the competition.
