THE M20 has grounded to a sudden halt with all traffic stopped and queues stretching back for miles following a crash.
Traffic is currently being held on the M20 westbound between Junction 4 (Leybourne) and Junction 3 (M26).
National Highways has reported that there is approximately two miles of congestion.
Drivers can expect delays of up to 30 minutes as pictures show traffic continuing to pile up.
In a statement posted on X, they said: “Traffic has been temporarily stopped on the M20 westbound between J4 (Leybourne) and J3 (M26) due to a collision.
“There is approx. 2 miles of congestion on approach, causing delays of 30 minutes above usual journey times.”
