This Saturday will see the Strictly 2025 show cast take on their first live dance.
While there are no eliminations on Sunday’s episode, Ross King is the hot favourite to be first off the show.
Bookies Coral have placed the entertainment reporter, who is a familiar face on ITV daytime series Lorraine, with odds of 2-1 to be the initial departure.
Coral’s spokesperson John Hill told us: “With no elimination on Strictly this weekend, Ross King is guaranteed to make it through to next weekend, but our odds suggest he is the most likely to depart once voting on elimination begins.”
In the odds, he is closely followed by former footballer Jimmy Floyd Hasselbaink who has odds of 4-1 to exit first.
Tipping the other end of the scale, John added: “In the outright betting, Lewis Cope is a warm favourite, but he could face tough competition from new contestant, Amber Davies, who is second best to lift the Glitterball Trophy.”
Amber’s last-minute inclusion in the show came after Dani Dyer, 29, had to drop out after revealing she had fractured her foot in rehearsals with pro partner Nikita Kuzmin.
In an emotional update to fans, Dani explained that continuing would risk exacerbating the injury.
Yet The Sun then exclusively revealed the Strictly cast backlash that ensued after Amber – another Love Island champ though with stage, acting and dance experience aplenty – would be stepping into her dance shoes.
ROSS’ STRUGGLES
Meanwhile, Scottish presenter Ross admitted he was struggling with dance training just one day in.
Speaking to Lorraine guest host Ranvir Singh, he explained: “I’ve spent the whole weekend in the bath.
“I’ve just been lying in the bath recovering. I was shattered after Friday.”
He also dropped a key clue that he wouldn’t be reaching the show semi final.
The popular ITV broadcaster, 63, is set for a “very busy pre Christmas time” – with a possible schedule clash set to cause havoc.

Ross proudly said: “I am delighted to say Mr Michael West End Harrison has invited me to tread the boards.
“I will be in Cinderella the pantomime and returning as Buttons at the wonderful Cliff’s Pavilion in Southend.”
Ranvir then quizzed Ross: “I love panto but how are you going to fit it around Strictly, that’s my question?
“Is he [Ross] going to be there for any rehearsals, this one?”
Ross then joked: “I am just going to turn up on the night aren’t I?”
As the Lorraine episode wrapped, Ranvir added: “Ross congratulations.
“You’re going to have a very busy pre Christmas time,” to which he cheered: “Bring it on.
“You never know until you give it a go.”
Meanwhile, he was also praised for his 100 per cent effort and “hard work and commitment” by his professional dance partner Jowita Przystal.
