BIG Brother viewers have been left baffled as THREE influencers headed into the house on launch night.
The civilian series kicked off its third year on ITV2, but it came packed with more ‘notable’ names than ever before.

Amongst this year’s crop of housemates – three have already attained a huge following online.
Arguably the most notable name amongst the group is controversial TikTok influencer Elsa-Rae, 21.
The Essex girl is well-known for her three-year on-off romance with controversial internet personality, Ed Matthews.
Ed found fame for his shocking livestreams with his best pal, HSTikkyTokky.
When Elsa was romancing Ed, she appeared alongside him on social media on an almost daily basis and has now earned herself over 300,000 followers of her own accord.
Moreover, Emily Hewertson is a leading political influencer with over 160,000 fans on X – formerly Twitter.
She is also a regular political contributor on TV having appeared on news outlets such as GB News and Talk.
Meanwhile, Zelah Glasson, 25, has accumulated his own following after sharing his journey as a transgender man on TikTok.
He has amassed a steady following of over 85,000 on the platform with his lifestyle and fitness videos and regularly interacts with his fans online.
But their inclusion has ruffled some feathers with viewers who have insisted the housemates should have no prior following.
Writing online after the live launch, one fan said: “So Elsa and Emily both have big social media followings… it’s a bit like a cbbuk hybrid going on here.”
Another added: “Elsa has like 300k followers on tik tok. Is big brother going to ever get the memo that we want normal folk? That Emily has also got loads of followers on here as well.”
A third penned: “Big Brother were doing a little tooooo well with the casting this series i knew they’d eventually ruin it and they did by casting an influencer.”
As a fourth went on to say: “Omfg… Elsa????? She’s a well known influencer why’s she on the normal version.”
It is not the first time Big Brother has cast notable people – with the final Channel 5 years often featuring notable names.
In the 2016 series of Big Brother – the house was jam-packed with stars and minor TV celebs.
The Valleys breakout star Lateysha Grace was picked to be a civilian housemate despite having over a million followers and having had her own autobiography and fashion line.
She was joined by The X Factor contestant Ryan Ruckledge and one of Justin Bieber‘s notorious 2016 party girls, Laura Carter.
BBC newsreader Andy West, Judge Geordie star Alex Cannon, and model Jackson Blyton were also among the cast of that year, as was Andrew Tate, who went on to develop a controversial online following.
In 2017, THREE stars of Ex On The Beach entered – Chanelle McCleary, Kieran Lee and Kayleigh Morris – as well as Ibiza Weekender star, Ellie Young.
