Forget luxury serums or Botox, the head massage you need to do to fight wrinkles, says 50-year-old with flawless skin

AS you get older and wrinkles start to develop, it can be tempting to look into options such as Botox to solve the issue.

However, one 50-year-old woman who has flawless skin has claimed there is a head massage you can do instead each day so you don’t need injectables.

A woman wearing a black shirt and long earrings gestures to her scalp with text overlay, "Can You Pinch Here? If Not Keep Watching..." and "50, Never Botox".

May shared how if you can’t pinch your temporalis muscle, which is located on the side of your head, you need to do a head massage to help your skin[/caption]

May, who posts under @maymirrorstyle, claims that the key is focusing on your temporalis muscle, which is located on the side of your head, just above your temples.

The wellness enthusiast, who claims to never have had Botox, shared: “Why cheeks get saggy? Do this self test.”

She recommended trying to pinch your temporalis muscle to see if it is saggy or tight.

May continued: “If you cannot pinch this muscle, that means this muscle is already tight.

“If it’s tight it means circulation will be poor.

“If you leave it, this is gonna pull down your face and it cause the sagging.

“So you need to massage everyday.”

She said that when the muscle gets tight, it pulls downwards and can cause saggy in the lower face.

The beauty influencer said she massages the area every day in the car and feels an “instant lifted effect” in her face.

She explained: “Put your hand like this and just lean toward. You can give a deep steady pressure.

“One important thing. Make sure your mouth is slightly open. In this way your muscle is more relaxed.

“Never bite and massage. And it’s too tight. Do this at least 30 seconds. This feels so good.”

Her video has racked up over 22,000 likes, and people were quick to chime in with their views.

One said: “Thank you!!! I just learned how tense stressful muscles in our face and scalp lead to sagging!”

Another added: “Omg!!! It felt so good.”

However, a third commented: “It gives me an instant headache.”

ROSE ICE BATH

It’s not the only trick which people swear by for having perfect skin later in life without Botox.

Gina Drewalowski, from Germany, took to Instagram to reveal how she looks flawless at 59 – and her beauty hack takes just seconds to do.

According to the blonde stunner, who recently spilled the beans on how she’s stopped her legs from ageing, her at-home remedy is ”better than Botox”.

The 59-year-old mum maintains her youthful glow thanks to a special ”rose radiance ice facial ritual” which she does two to three times a week.

”I dip my face for 30 seconds into a bowl of ice-cold water with fresh rose petals (edible/unsprayed) and lime slices,” Gina recently told her 740k followers.

Dropping knowledge bombs, Gina explained that there are a number of benefits from following this method.

While ”rose calms the skin, reduces redness and is naturally anti-inflammatory”, adding lime slices will give your skin a ”vitamin C boost for a clarified, firming effect”.

”Together they create an elegant, luxurious glow,” she wrote in the caption of the clip.

How much does Botox cost?

BOTOX and anti-wrinkle injections are one of the most popular cosmetic treatments available today.

Botox injections work by weakening or paralyzing certain muscles or by blocking certain nerves.

The effects last about three to twelve months, depending on what you are treating.

The NHS website estimates each botulinum toxin injection costs £150-£350 per session.

The price varies depending on how much is used per session, they add.

Botox prices fluctuate depending on where you go to get it done and the number of areas treated.

Some companies offer one area for around the £200 mark, and most offer packages if you want to add more areas to your treatment.

It is worth doing your research before you undergo the treatment – and remember that going ‘cheap’ isn’t always a good idea.
