SERENA Williams, a 23-time Grand Slam champion, sparked a global outcry after promoting Ozempic-like drugs.
But now a Brit TV star, famed for her curves, has turned down a lucrative deal worth thousands of pounds to promote weight loss jabs amid fears the injections could put her life at risk.

We can reveal that former TOWIE star Lauren Goodger, 38, was offered a huge payday to endorse the controversial injections, but she refused over concerns about long-term health risks.
“A lot of celebs and influencers are being paid big money to promote these jabs, but Lauren’s an exception,” our source claimed.
“She has had some serious offers on the table, we are talking tens of thousands of pounds, but she turned them all down.
“She’s terrified of what they could do to her body and her long term health – and as a mum to a four year old daughter, she just won’t take that risk.”
Lauren has been open about her cosmetic surgery regrets, including a boob job and BBL.
She has also been candid about her weight battles over the years and how her body has changed following two pregnancies – Lauren is mum to Larose, four, and Lorena who tragically died shortly after birth in July 2022.
However, Lauren’s made it clear she won’t take the risk by using the jab – no matter how tempting the results.
“I’ll never take them, it’s against everything that I believe,” Lauren told The Sun in June.
“We don’t know the full side effects of them, they’ve not been around for long enough.
“Also I think a lot of people don’t just lose fat, they lose muscle, which is why they look frail. I feel like it just ages everyone as well.
“Everyone is on their own journey and I am not here to judge anyone, that’s just my personal opinion.
“I know people that rave about the jabs and I am happy for them. But it’s not for me.”
Social media is currently flooded with jaw-dropping weight loss transformations and it’s sparked a huge surge in those using them, with an estimated 1.5million Brits now on the jabs.

But the Advertising Standards Authority is now taking steps to clamp down and in July, it banned an ad by Lauren’s former TOWIE co-star Gemma Collins who was promoting skinny jabs, amid rising concern over misleading claims.
Still, despite the warnings, social media remains rife with influencers promoting the injections to thousands of their followers.
And now, new data from the Medicines and Healthcare products Regulatory Agency (MHRA) has linked one death a week to weight loss jabs including Ozempic, Wegovy, and Mounjaro.
It does not mean the injections caused the deaths, only that they may have played a part – but for Lauren, that statistic is terrifying enough for her not to use them.
“Lauren’s read about it all – possible links to cancer, organ failure, addiction to the jabs, and now that they are linked to deaths,” the source said.
“She knows someone who suffered serious side effects and it genuinely scared her.
“The results may look tempting and quick, but that isn’t enough for her to try them. She just doesn’t think the risk is worth it.”
And it isn’t just the potential health complications that have alarmed Lauren – she has also been put off by what the jabs could possibly do to your appearance.
“She would much rather keep her curves than end up looking gaunt or old. It’s just not her vibe,” the source added.
“And the idea of getting addicted to them and being stuck on something like that forever really concerns her.”
Lauren, who recently revealed to The Sun she is looking to reverse her past cosmetic surgery, is believed to be focusing on shaping up naturally, and despite the huge pressures to go on the jabs, is proud to be bucking the trend.

“After her reversal surgery, Lauren is committed to getting back in shape the healthy way,” the insider said.
“Once she’s recovered she is going to up her gym sessions, look at her diet and really rebuild her routine.
“She knows it will take longer compared to using the jab, but she’s done it before, and she’s determined to do it again – without the jab!”
Tennis legend Serena, 43, revealed she used fat jabs to shed pounds after giving birth to her two daughters.

Williams said she used GLP-1 medications to get slimmer after giving birth to her children.
In an interview with Vogue, the champion revealed she wanted to have an “honest conversation” about weight loss.
Williams told the magazine: “I’ve heard negative comments, along with a tremendous amount of positive comments, about my body my entire life.
“I don’t really care what people are saying about my body any more. But what is important to me is transparency.
“I’m the mom of two girls, and I wanted to be very honest about what I’m doing so they can always be the same with me and we can have an open relationship,” she continued.
She has now become the celebrity patient ambassador for Ro – the telehealth company behind the Zepbound weight loss jabs she used.
