In the new format, pairs of contestants will team up to answer tough questions and tackle mind-bending puzzles, all while travelling across different countries.
The globe-trotting twist will put their brains — and their teamwork — to the test, with a massive cash prize waiting at the finish line.
Fans can expect even higher stakes, fresh twists, and some familiar faces battling it out on a global stage.
Production on The Chase Around The World is due to commence early next year.
ITV have not yet announced whether Bradley Walsh or any of the Chasers will be involved.
But it will be produced by Potato – who also make the daytime series and Beat The Chasers.
The exciting spin-off comes off the back of The Chase’s phenomenal success, with the Bradley Walsh-fronted show regularly pulling in over 3 million viewers a day and its primetime edition smashing ratings to become one of ITV’s most-watched quiz formats.
Meanwhile, Beat The Chasers has pulled in peaks of over 5 million in primetime slots.
The Chase has become a powerhouse for ITV, airing in over 10 countries worldwide.
With more than 2,000 episodes broadcast since its 2009 launch, it remains one of the longest-running and most successful game shows on British TV.
The global move marks the next big step for the franchise.
Beat The Chasers will kick off again on Sunday nights as it has been recommissioned for an eighth series to air next year.
The show sees individuals take on all six Chasers – The Governess, The Vixen, The Menace, The Dark Destroyer, The Beast and The Sinnerman – in the hope of winning a huge cash prize.
In a nail-biting head-to-head race against the clock, contestants could win up to £600,000 if they face all the Chasers.
But, run out of time before the Chasers and the contestants go home with nothing.
The Chase and Beat The Chasers are available to watch on ITVX.
