STRICTLY Come Dancing star Ross King’s exuberant debut on the dancefloor took a backseat to his surprise romance during Saturday’s live launch show.
The Scottish broadcaster, 63, revealed his glamorous girlfriend Bridget was watching him in the audience, having flown 5,000 miles from LA.

The Mail has now reported that high-flying Bridget Siegel is a 43-year-old exec for hospitality firm R3 Venture Studios – who help build top tier consumer brands.
The pair have known each other for two years, meeting through mutual friends before dating last year.
An insider said: “When Ross was confirmed for Strictly, Bridget immediately said she would be with him every step of the way.
“True to her word, she flew over from Los Angeles to support Ross and will remain in the UK throughout his time in the competition.
‘She’s extremely successful in her own right, as a high-flying CEO of a restaurant company, she has a fantastic career, which is one of the things that attracted Ross to her.”
Bridget has extensive experience in the food business, working as Chief Operating Officer at actor Kevin Hart’s vegan fast food restaurant Hart House and at &Pizza in New York.
Ross and partner Jowita Przystal performed a cha-cha-cha to Katy Perry‘s California Girls on Saturday, dancing in dazzling sequin trousers.
The humble Lorraine star admitted his time on the show might be short-lived, accepting he’s unlikely to be a Glitterball contender.
He received the second lowest score ever in the first week of Strictly, picking up just 10 points.
He told show hosts Claudia Winkleman and Tess Daly: “It’s so lovely that my girlfriend flew all the way, 5000 miles.
“I said, ‘come tonight Bridget,’ because there might not be too many of these.”
Ross and Bridget are living it up in his three-story £1.5m home in Beverly Hills, which he dubs his Scottish Castle.
He records his daily entertainment round-ups for the ITV Daytime show in a soundproof studio at the property.
Unlike the privacy-loving celebs he reports on, Ross is all too happy to show off his abode.
He previously threw open the doors for a tour on YouTube, revealing his huge bed, swimming pool, and balcony with views of the hills. Photographs with famous pals like Catherine Zeta-Jones, Dolly Parton and Gerard Butler decorate the walls and he has a glitzy trophy cabinet.
On last week’s episode of the How To Be 60 podcast hosted by Kaye Adams, Ross was asked if he planned to stay in LA.
He replied: “Oh yeah, I love LA. Who knows what happens in the future but it would take a lot to take me away from LA.
“I love the place. I’ve got a great life there. I’ve got a beautiful, lovely girlfriend Bridget.
“We have a great time there. So it’s very much home.”
Ross’ relationship with Bridget comes after his divorce from second wife Brianna Deutsch in 2018, three years after a private wedding attended by Vinnie Jones and Patsy Palmer.
Before that he was married to Charley King from 1999 until 2006.
It could be a case of third time lucky for the romantic Scot.
He said: “Never say never again. How about that?
When pushed on his response, Kaye asked: “You’re not saying no?”
