The reality star is understood to have targeted love rival Jyssica Memory, after discovering she was having an affair with her boyfriend, Anthony Kelly.
Anthony, who had been with Katie for four years, allegedly sparked a secret relationship with Jyssica and promised her a new life in Thailand.
The court heard how the victim was waiting outside a friends house with her bags packs when she claimed to be “ambushed” by her lover and Katie, who went by her real name of Humphreys in court.
Northampton Crown Court heard the former Love Island contestant kicked and punched Jyssica around 10 times.
Katie, a born-again Christian and OnlyFans creator, is also understood to have used a hairdryer and stiletto heeled shoe in the onslaught.
A witness told how a terrified Jyssica was left on the floor curled up in the fetal position.
But Katie, whose real surname is Humphreys, argued she was the victim and “frightened for her life”.
However, in July, Katie was found guilty of assault on a person causing the m actual bodily harm.
Yesterday, the TV star avoided jail when she was sentenced for the attack and given a suspended prison term.
Katie has now broken her silence on the vicious attack in an emotional video on Instagram.
Choking back the tears, she told fans: “I have been wanting to come online and do this video for a while now and I’ve kind of just let a lot of people say a lot about me and write a lot about me and I just needed to just take some time off social media and I did. I haven’t been on it for over a couple of months now.
“I felt like today was the right time to do this video so that I can finally move on with my life and share the things that are really important to me and the causes that are really important to me.
“There’s been many decisions that have led me to this point over the years and there was a scenario that happened over two years ago which maybe some people know about.

Katie’s voice then started to crack, as she said: “Maybe some people don’t but unfortunately I’m not able to speak on that right now due to legal reasons and it breaks my heart that I’m labelled as something that I’m not or never have been.
“But with that being said I feel as though if I was to come on here and try and throw blame at anyone or try and say anything other than what I’m about to say would mean that I haven’t learned anything in my walk in the past two years with Christ and I have and there’s a lot more to the story than what people even know.
“Maybe I’ll never even get to share that but that’s not important. What is important is what I learned from it and how I found God through it.”
Continuing, she said: “I’m sorry that I haven’t been online and I haven’t been sharing my journey in faith or all the things that I was doing and sharing my new life.
“But it’s because my past caught up with me and I’ve had to learn to take accountability and face the repercussions and I had to say goodbye to my little girl not knowing if I was gonna see her again or how long it was gonna be until I seen her again and that was the hardest thing that I’ve ever had to do.”
She went on to talk about the “journey” she was now on to “rebuild her life”.
Katie ended the video by saying: Sso if you were praying for my downfall I want you to know that this isn’t the end of me. this is only the beginning.
“Jesus is restoring what was stolen from me, he is healing what has been broken in me and I’m going to use that as fire in my spirit to make sure that I can make a change starting with me.”
In the accompanying caption to the video, the star also thanked fans who had “supported” her and she said she “prayed everyday for forgiveness”.
