Duba vows to improve as drought continues for Kaizer Chiefs
Kaizer Chiefs striker Wandile Duba admits that the start of the 2025-2026 season hasn’t been his best work. However, the 21-year-old vows to keep working hard. He started the first four matches of the league but has only made one substitute appearance since, and was excluded altogether last time out in a 1-1 draw against Gallants. He’s not scored yet.

Orlando Pirates strikers continue to do the business
Meanwhile, on the other side of Soweto, Pirates duo Evidence Makgopa and Tshegofatso Mabasa are not struggling in front of goal. Both players were on the score sheet for the Buccaneers as they claimed a routine 2-0 win over TS Galaxy. Makgopa struck with a 20th-minute penalty while Mabasa added the finishing touches deep into second-half stoppage time. Makgopa’s now got a goal and three assists in the Betway Premiership this season, reinforcing his overall importance to the cause.
