SAINSBURY’S has brought back a popular Nectar card offer TODAY – in the build-up to Christmas.
Launched in 2002, the Nectar card is a loyalty card scheme run by the retailer.

Supermarket shoppers are celebrating the return of the Count Up To Christmas offer.
This promotion will be available to customers from October 1 to November 11.
Meanwhile, shoppers can join Nectar Count Up To Christmas via the Nectar app.
Once in the app, the next step is to click the “Join the challenge” button for entry.
Back in 2021, the supermarket famously axed the Nectar Double Up promotion, leaving shoopers fuming.
The offer previously allowed customers to swap their points for vouchers worth twice the usual amount.
Under the Nectar card scheme, customers collect points when buying certain products or goods, in-store and online.
You receive one loyalty point for every £1 spent.
You also get one point for every £1 spent on fuel bought at Sainsbury’s petrol stations and can pick up points at hundreds of partners as well, including Esso and eBay.
You can register and download an e-Nectar Card by downloading the app on your smartphone.
You then swipe it every time you shop and the points are added to your account, which can be used to get money off future purchases.
Earlier this year, it was revealed a huge change was coming to the Nectar Card scheme.
Customers were able to access personalised “Your Nectar Prices” at the tills, beginning July 25.
These give Nectar loyalty members special discounts on items they often buy.
In fact, they were previously only available for online orders to through the Smart Shop app or handset in stores.
Shoppers on the scheme can also save money with easy tricks – from 5p fuel to offers on cheap wine.
