Kaizer Chiefs want to strengthen their squad in all positions. The next area in focus is the goalkeeping department.
Sekhukhune and Bafana goalkeeper Matthew Leaner has emerged as a new target.
Kaizer Chiefs are taking a look at Leaner
With neither Bruce Bvuma nor Brandon Petersen convincing in the gloves, and Fiacre Ntwari expected to leave, a new goalkeeper is on the agenda at Chiefs.
“Kaizer Chiefs are set to make an enquiry to Sekhukhune United over goalkeeper Renaldo Leaner, who has broken into the senior national team,” iDiski Times reported.
“The 27-year-old iKamva graduate earned his way into the Sekhukhune line-up shortly after the arrival of Eric Tinkler and made a huge impression, more notably in the Nedbank Cup, where he pulled off a Man of the Match display in their 1-0 loss to Mamelodi Sundowns.
Tau makes Orlando Pirates admission
Bafana winger Percy Tau is a free agent after leaving Qatar SC. New developments see him linked with Kaizer Chiefs or Orlando Pirates. Former Sundowns, Brighton and Anderlecht winger could be in line for a return to South African football.

Is Leaner good enough to don the gloves for Kaizer Chiefs?
