The ‘jiggle, scoop & swoop’ move that means your boobs ALWAYS look great – it gets rid of annoying back bra overhang too

A BRA expert has shared the “jiggle, scoop and swoop” move she swears by to ensure her boobs ALWAYS look amazing.

Katie Weir works with clients in person and virtually, to help them find their perfect bra size – and recently helped one woman go from an incorrectly-fitting 36B to a snug but comfy 32DD.

In a video on her TikTok page, Katie explained that the woman initially thought that the bras she’d bought in the new size didn’t fit, until she was reminded of the bra pro’s clever hack.

And, when she’d done it, she told Katie that she’d “never seen” her boobs look as good before.

In the comments section of the video, Katie was inundated with requests to further explain how to do a “jiggle, scoop and swoop”, so obliged in another TikTok.

She began the video by showing how her figure looked in a pink bodysuit, with underwired cups, and pointed out the back overhang she was struggling with – one of the main issues the majority of her clients complain of.

She then demonstrated her fitting trick, kicking off with the “jiggle”.

Katie held the underwired part of the cups, and leaned forward, as she explained: “What this does is move all of your underwire upwards and gets all of your bust tissue inside of the cups.”

Standing up, she said that the initial trick had made her look “much more full”, and she followed up with the “scoop and swoop”.

“So we’re gonna hold the underwire, pull it away from our body, pass our hand through and right to the back of our armpit, as far back as we can go,” Katie continued.

“We’re gonna lean forward again, let gravity do its thing and bring all of the bust tissue into the bra, keep holding it and move it up towards our face.”

She concluded by going a “gentle pull” of the strap to hold everything in, before doing the same thing on the other side.

“That is how you put your bra on in the morning!” Katie concluded after doing it on both sides.

“That is the difference it makes!”

“I’ve been scooping the wrong way my entire adult life (like more up and backwards towards the armpits),” one person commented on the video.

“Now my bra fits completely different! Thank you!”

“I still remember the day I first learned this move from a video you did on Instagram and I realised I was actually a full cup size bigger than I thought!” another added.

“It’s been a real game changer!!”

Top bra tips

Fabulous’ Deputy Fashion Editor, Abby McHale has shared her tips for keeping your bras looking their best.

1. Don’t wash your bras in the washing machine on their own, this is how your wiring will get damaged. Instead either wash in a pillowcase or take them in the shower with you and wash as you would your body.

2. Always start on the loosest hooks for your back, that way as the bra is worn more and the elastic stretches you can tighten it up with the tighter hooks.

3. If you wear your bra two to three times a week then it should last between six months to a year before you need to replace it.

4. You should always be able to feel your bra throughout the day, if you don’t it means it’s not doing its job properly.

5. It’s actually the band across the back that keeps your boobs upright and not the cups itself.

Katie added in response to someone else’s comment that the trick is for “all girlies” – of all different sizes.

“Try it and you’ll be surprised how much you have in the armpit area,” she wrote.

“It’s like a boob job – especially when you have a good fit!”
