A BODY has been found in the search for a missing woman who vanished more than two weeks ago.
Mavis, 62, was reported missing from her Darlington home in North Yorkshire, at around 12.30 pm on Tuesday, September 16.

Cops believed Mavis had been heading in the direction of Darlington town centre.
Durham Police released CCTV images in their search which show her leave South Park, opposite the entrance to Heslop Drive, just after 1.30pm the day of her disappearance.
A body was tragically found in the search for Mavis today.
Officers made the discovery in the Preston Park area and Mavis’ family are being supported by specialist officers.
The death is not being treated as suspicious.
A spokesperson for the force said: “We’re sorry to report that a body has been found in the search for Mavis.
“The body of a woman was recovered from the Preston Park area today.
“Formal identification has yet to take place, but we believe it to be that of the 62-year-old, from Darlington.
“Mavis’ family have been informed and are being supported by specialist officers.
“The death is not being treated as suspicious, and a file will be prepared for the coroner.”
