Netflix is set to deliver another proudly South African story with its latest original series, BK and Pinky, debuting on 31 October.

The show follows Jo-Anne Reyneke as BK.

BK is a struggling single mother and small-time con artist doing her best to provide for her son with special needs.

Desperate to make ends meet, she teams up with Pinky, a wannabe luxury influencer played by Cindy Mahlangu.

BK AND PINKY

As their illegal operation gains momentum, the duo attracts the attention of both a dangerous counterfeiting kingpin, Bra Alex (Vincent Mahlape), and law enforcement.

Caught between hardened criminals and determined police officers, BK and Pinky must use their quick wits to outsmart everyone.

The result is a sharp, fast-paced drama with humour, tension, and plenty of South African flair.
