A HUGE toy showdown has hit Aldi stores days before official release.
Aldi‘s wooden toy event appears to have started early, with customers racing to pick up the kids items.

The range was officially set to launch in the middle aisle on October 9.
However, some customers already got their hands on the items.
One Tiktok user posted a video of her picking up items including a wooden toaster, wooden biscuit tin and a wooden teatime from Aldi’s store in Horsham.
Another user bought wooden doughnuts and a wooden slow cooker from Aldi’s store in Purley, Croydon.
The range is hugely popular amongst shop-goers looking for a great and cheap gift in the lead up to the festive season
The range includes items like a wooden ice cream cart and a wooden toy kitchen all for under £35.
The toys are a steal for those looking for a cheap Christmas present for children, with prices starting from just £3.99.
Customers should move quick, as the range only has a limited stock of each item.
Aldi is yet to confirm whether the range has appeared early in stores nationwide.
To avoid disappointment, give your local store a ring before heading over in case it’s not yet selling the range.
Lidls wooden range
Fellow supermarket Lidl is also set to release a similar wooden range.
A 100 wooden toys will land in stores across the UK on Thursday, October 9.
The range includes a Wooden Play Kitchen and a Bakery & Cafe play set.
A Wooden railway set is also available in three fun themes, and for just £6.39 with Lidl Plus.
The items can be accessed for a reduced prices with the Lidl Plus discount, which gives shoppers exclusive discount and offers across store items.
The wooden toy ranges come at a time where shoppers are starting to stock up on Christmas present ahead of the festive season.
