VICTORIA Beckham may also be known as ‘Posh Spice’ – but how posh is she really?
I am chatting to the acclaimed designer in her flagship Dover Street store in London’s Mayfair.

The star made some fun revelations[/caption]
This is Victoria’s first tabloid newspaper interview in almost 15 years. I am desperate not to f*** it up.
We meet hours before her glitzy red carpet premiere for her new Netflix documentary, and we are both frothing at the mouth, giddy on adrenaline (albeit for very different reasons).
Of course, Goldenballs had his own format two years ago, and VB memorably stole the show in a clip that went viral, when Becks ribbed her mercilessly about her ‘posh’ upbringing.
“My dad drove a Rolls Royce” went onto become an internet meme, garnering hundreds of millions of views.
So, really, what I’m desperate to know is – how Posh is Posh, really?
Has she, for instance, ever been to Lidl? “No, but my mum shops there.”
Does she have a Club Card? She doesn’t. Has she ever flogged clothes on Vinted? “What’s Vinted?” (No, but she did auction off a whole bunch of clothes for the Red Cross).
When did she last hoover? That’ll be 1997, the year she met the love of her life: “I haven’t hoovered in many, many years… David, Mr Clean, does all the hoovering.”
Does she pick up her five dogs’ poos in poo bags? “Of course I do! I hate it when people leave it lying around in the park, awful!”
Has she ever flown Easy Jet? “Yes, loads! I’ve even flown Ryan Air!”, she adds excitedly.
Having once joked she loved a Lambrusco in her early years, she looks mildly appalled when I ponder if she likes the cheap stuff now. “No.”
She and David are still incredibly romantic, she says, but not in the way of grand gestures or expensive gifts: “It’s the little things that mean a lot.”
She adds: “I think we just really care about each other. We do leave notes and stuff like that.
“He’s going away tomorrow, so I put all of his little vitamin bags together; we have so many vitamins, and I assemble all the little bags for him, and in the morning, he’ll always make our protein shakes.
LAUGHING THROUGH LIFE
“Sometimes he’ll cook dinner and does all these kind of things. It’s just really caring about each other.
“We still have a lot of fun together; the other weekend we went to our local in the country and had a lovely lunch. We do normal things, and we have similar interests like art and fine wines.
“And he makes me laugh – I think this is the most important thing.”
