A HUGE show with an A-list cast has been axed after four seasons as the show’s bosses release an emotional statement.
This will come as a shock to fans as the show was hugely popular and even had a perfect score on Rotten Tomatoes.

Christina Ricci’s Yellowjackets is set to end after the new series.
The series’ creators Ashley Lyle and Bart Nickerson have made an announcement to say season four will be its last.
The statement read: “After three incredible seasons, and great consideration, we’re excited to announce that we will be bringing the story of Yellowjackets to its twisted conclusion in this fourth and final season.
“We’ve always known there would come a point when the story would tell us it wants to end, and it’s our belief that our job — our responsibility — is to listen.
“Telling this emotional, wild, and deeply human story has been a profoundly meaningful experience and a true honor for us, and we’re so very grateful to the brilliant cast, crew and writers who have bravely gone on the journey with us to bring it to life.”
Continuing, they said: “Most of all, we want to thank the fans who have stuck with us through every moment, mystery and meal — the Hive is nothing without you!
“We can’t wait to share the final chapter with you and hope you find it…delicious.”
Yellowjackets Season four is being written right now with production slated to start in 2026.
The final series will then start on Paramount+ with Showtime later that year.
Yellowjackets was the runaway hit of 2021 when it aired its first series.
Season one followed a high school girls football team and what happened to them after a shocking plane crash.
On their way to a tournament, the plane crashed and left them stranded in the wilderness which ultimately sees them turn into a cannibalistic clan in order to stay alive.
Making use of time-jumps, the programme shifts between 1996 and the present day.
This allows fans of the show to see just who managed to stay alive in the wilderness after all these years and begin to predict when and how the others might meet their end.
As well as leading lady Christina, the series also stars Melanie Lynskey, Juliette Lewis, Jasmin Savoy Brown and Samantha Hanratty.
