ICYMI: Kaizer Chiefs release another veteran

Kaizer Chiefs are polishing their playing squad before the Betway Premiership recommences. Four players have now been sent packing.

Edmilson Dove will leave Naturena when his contract expires at the end of June 2025.

Sabelo Radebe is also departing.

Dove is the latest to leave Kaizer Chiefs

Sabelo Radebe is no longer a Chiefs player. The 25-year-old got his first taste of senior football at the club in 2017-2018. He only had two Betway Premiership outings this season. He’s only notched a total of 18 appearances. Meanwhile, goal-shy Ranga Chivaviro also departs and Njabulo Blom returns to the United States MLS at the end of his loan spell. Now, 30-year-old Edmilson Dove is the latest casualty. The club has announced that the Mozambican defender will leave the club at the end of this month when his deal expires.

“The team feels that apparently they believe they have learnt a lesson from the signing of Khama Billiat and Keagan Dolly,” an inside source explained.
